As the newest member of the Utah Sales Staff, Michael brings 40+ years of sales in the Salt Lake Metro Area. His greatest joys in life are family (Married to Patricia for 13 years, Grandpa to David-17 & Lilly-11), Golf, Networking and Reading-favorite Author is Clive Cussler.
Michael also brings to the Mergenthaler Transfer & Storage “family”, 34+ years as a Volunteer in the Salt Lake Chamber- 30+ as a President’s Ambassador (membership Chair for 16 years), 2009 Graduate of the Leadership Utah Program, helped to create the “Honoring Heroes Foundation for the Utah Highway Patrol and Utah State Department of Public Safety and is grateful for and humbly loves to be a “Connector in the Community”; if you need something, he can within 72 hours have the contact or connection in place for you!
Prior to Mergenthaler, Michael has been a “Stand-Up Comedian”, Trainer for Hilton Corporation, Sales Manager for Kelly Services, The Valley Journals, and a National Accounts Advisor in the Workforce Solutions Division of the University of Phoenix.
He graduated from the University of Utah in Organizational Communications with minors in PR/Advertising, History and Sociology.
His family has a long, varied and steeped involvement in the Utah area since the early 1900’s and has had many wonderful experiences in guiding people to find what they need/want and always with whatever organization he’s been fortunate enough to be affiliated with to, “Exceed Customer Expectations”. According to Michael, the keys to his great success in business are “Relationships, Engagement, Integrity and GRATITUDE”!
