The Salt Lake City Household Goods Office was added as a full service United Van
Lines Agent in 1997, starting up from scratch on January 1st 1997. The first
month in business we did two local moves for a total of $2,600 but were
determined to make this location succeed. Today located in a new 35,000 square
foot building the Salt Lake City office is the leading revenue and sales office
in our system. The Salt Lake City Office has a well balanced mix of one time
residential moves to being a large National Account bookers with accounts all
across the country. Much of our success in the area has been due to our large
hauling fleet that services these moves around the entire 48 states.
